St Hilarion is able to offer our elderly community a continuum of aged care services, comprising of Community Care (or at home care), Respite services, and Residential Low and High Care services. Our high care services also include a 35 bed, high dependency dementia unit.
Our nursing staff plan and implement care programs to maximise the health and well being of our residents, taking into account each individual's particular requirements and preferences. We encourage our residents to play an active part in meeting their physical, mental, spiritual and cultural needs, and we pride ourselves on providing a safe, pleasant home in a loving Christian environment.
We assist each individual to retain their independence with respect to rights, dignity and privacy, and encourage our residents to participate in the planned social and physical activities of their choice.
We actively communicate appropriate information to assist our residents and their families to make informed choices that meet personal needs. Consistent with this, we encourage a regular and open dialogue between residents, their families, our staff, volunteers and management team.
We continually review and maintain Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare, undertake internal audits within a framework of promoting continuous improvement, and have Quality Assurance Systems to achieve and maintain high performance levels.
