FANTASTIC NEWS!
We are delighted to report that on 30 June 2010, our 107 residents previously living at our Lockleys and Findon facilities moved into their beautiful new home at Seaton. The House of Saint Hilarion project has taken years of vision, planning and implementation, but finally we are here!
The day of moving was obviously a huge logistical exercise, and we wish to thank everyone involved for their efforts, including our volunteers, staff, contractors and, of course, our wonderful residents and their families. We are also very appreciative of the terrific response we have received from families and other visitors to The House of St Hilarion.
While we have moved into our new home, the Official Opening and Blessing Ceremony will take place on Sunday 29 August 2010 at 1.30pm. Everyone associated with the Society of St Hilarion is warmly welcome to attend this special event, with the blessing to be conducted by His Grace, Archbishop Philip Wilson, and special guests to include the Premier, the Hon Mike Rann MP.
We are also delighted that joining us for a special week of celebrations will be the Mayor of Caulonia, Prof. Ilario Ammendolia and his daughter Ilaria.

Your attention is particularly drawn to Saturday 4 September 2010, when we will be hosting our Gala Opening Dinner which will take place within the main community centre area of The House of St Hilarion. This will be a fantastic night of premium food, South Australian wine and beers, live entertainment and lots of surprises. St Hilarion events are always lots of fun, and this event is set to be one of the most important in our history. BUILDING APPEAL UPDATE
Your help in assisting with our Building Appeal is crucial, and to date we have raised around $1.9 million of our minimum fundraising requirement of $3 million.
