The primary construction phase of the Development will see the building of a 107-place care facility at Seaton, to incorporate a 30-place secure area for dementia sufferers, low-level care hostel accommodation and a high-level care nursing home.

The new facility will foster a comfortable, nurturing “home” environment and will include:

• A piazza
• A community centre and coffee lounge, plus a number of lounges and sitting areas
• Bedrooms with electric beds and spacious ensuites
• Medical treatment rooms and clinics
• Respite lodging for carers
• Spacious courtyard and garden areas
• A chapel to cater for large services and smaller gatherings
• Undercroft parking
