The aged care sector is changing and becoming one of Australia’s largest growing industries that provides new job opportunities. We are committed to assisting students in their learning by enhancing their understanding of the way care is delivered, as here at Saint Hilarion we actively listen to and partner with our clients to identify the goals they would like to achieve and the way in which they would prefer to receive our care. As we employ a wide range of professionals, this ensures that a broad range of services are available onsite for our residents and as well as the ability to offer a wide range of home care services.
Through our engagement with students we are assisting in the development of a future workforce with specialised aged care skills and knowledge, through providing a holistic and wholistic approach to care.
Each year, students from tertiary institutions, vocational education providers and secondary schools undertake student activities with us including:
- Clinical placements in support of a qualification
- Student led clinics
- Student work experience
- Project work
- Research projects (undergraduate, post graduate)
- Presentations
