24 September 2020: Fact Sheet to help visitors to residential aged care facilities to understand the restrictions and how they can still keep in touch with their family and friends. 

 

23 September 2020: Emergency Management (Residential Aged Care Facilities No 9) (COVID-19) Direction 2020 came into effect on 24 September 2020 and revokes the Emergency Management (Residential Aged Care Facilities No 8) (COVID-19) Direction 2020. The Direction outlines restrictions which impact a resident’s ability to leave residential aged care facilities, along with visitation rights to these facilities.

 

16 September 2020: Visitor Handout describing infection control practices that apply when visiting family at Saint Hilarion Aged Care.

 

16 August 2020: Letter to Residents and Relatives in relation to the requirement to implement an emergency plan for aged care facilities.

 

23 July 2020: An Industry Code for Aged Care came into effect on 23 July 2020 to provide an agreed industry approach to ensure aged care residents are provided the opportunity to receive visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic, while minimising the risk of its introduction to, or spread within, a residential care home.
